What An Unanswered Phone Costs A Practice
Calls bunch up at opening time, over lunch and around school pick-up. That's also when cancellations need filling. Recalls, plan queries and payment questions get pushed to the next day.
What Missed Calls Cost Your Practice
Put in your own numbers to see roughly what missed calls cost you.
Illustrative estimate. Defaults are cautious starting points, so change them to match your practice. The 37% is from a YouGov survey of 2,046 UK adults for Answer4u (June 2026): the share who would contact a competitor if a call isn't answered within 60 seconds. It covers all businesses, not only dental.

The Same Monday, Twice
One morning at reception, with and without Adele Care.
What Comes In The First Release
Four reception tasks come first. Adele Care logs every action it takes, and why.
What Changes For Your Patients
Out-of-hours cover and appointment reminders come with the pilot. The rest arrives in later phases.
What We're Building, And When
We've mapped more than 130 front-desk and back-office tasks that software can take on in a dental practice. We'll release them in phases after reception, and our Clinical Safety Officer signs off each one before it goes live.
After Reception
Four Commitments That Don't Change
However much we add, Adele Care will meet the same clinical safety and regulatory standards as any core NHS system.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is An AI Dental Receptionist?
An AI dental receptionist answers patient calls and messages for a practice, books appointments and passes on anything it can't handle. Adele Care does this across phone, text, email and messaging, writes bookings straight into Dentally and sends anything clinical to your team.
Does Adele Care Give Clinical Advice?
No. Adele Care is strictly non-clinical: it books, reschedules and gives practice information. Questions about diagnosis or treatment go to a clinician at your practice.
Which Practice Management Systems Does It Work With?
The pilot works with Dentally, with two-way sync for bookings. Other practice management systems used across the UK follow in later phases. If your practice uses SOE, R4 or another system, you can still apply and tell us which one.
Is It Compliant With DCB0129 And DCB0160?
Adele Care is built to NHS DCB0129 and DCB0160, the clinical risk management standards for health IT. Our Clinical Safety Officer signs off the product and each deployment, and we provide the DCB0160 paperwork your IG lead needs.
How Does It Handle Urgent Cases?
Adele Care separates routine requests from urgent ones using clinical rules your practice has approved. Urgent cases go to your team or a named clinician with a summary of the patient's context. Patients can ask for a person at any point.
When Can My Practice Start?
The first pilot practices go live on Dentally in December 2026. The full-feature beta follows in March 2027. Apply using the form below to be considered for a pilot place.
How Is Pricing Set?
We haven't published pricing yet. You can ask about pricing when you apply for the pilot.
Does It Replace My Reception Team?
No. Adele Care picks up overflow calls and out-of-hours messages so reception can look after the patients in front of them. Anything unclear goes to your staff.
Where Is Patient Data Held?
Patient data is UK-hosted, minimised at source and never used to train a third-party model. You can request our DPIA pack by email.
Which Channels Does It Cover?
Adele Care covers phone, SMS, email and messaging. Treatment plans and invoices can go out by WhatsApp or email. British Sign Language support is planned.
